Since January 2023, the DLSA, Tinsukia has provided assistance to 03 persons, who are victim of substance abuse (including narcotic drugs), in securing treatment and rehabilitation by getting them admitted in the Government run De-Addiction Cum Rehabilitation Centre located at Na-pukhuri, Tinsukia. The DLSA, Tinsukia has also initiated steps for identification of more such victims who are in need of treatment at De-Addiction cum Rehabilitation center but unable to get the treatment for various reasons including poverty. The above mentioned assistance is provided by DLSA, Tinsukia under NALSA (Legal Services to the Victims of Drug Abuse and Eradication of Drug Menace) Scheme 2015.
