Monthly meeting of the UTRC,held on 22.05.2024 physically
at Conference hall of District Judiciary, Tinsukia.The Committee comprised of Hon’ble
District and Sessions Judge Cum Chairman, DLSA, Tinsukia, Chief Judicial Magistrate,
Tinsukia, Secretary, DLSA, Tinsukia, Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Tinsukia, Addl Superintendent
of Police, Tinsukia (HQ) & Deputy Superintendent of Police Sadiya (P)
Superintendent, District Jail Tinsukia & Sadiya. A total of 07 members
participated in the meeting on the aforesaid day and remaining 01 member was
absent. The committee took note that 26 person in custody have been released
till 22.05.2024 pursuant to the recommendations made in the previous meeting
dated 16.04.2024. The committee also apprised the inmates about their right to
free legal aid.
